I have been ripped off as well - as a purchaser. Daniel McDonald should not be able to run a business for a while as he is a director of an company that has gone into administration. All the vendors out there should lodge a default notice under VEDA (Credit Association) to ensure that his record is duly noted and he can't do this to other people. Especially as I heard that he has removed all mention of this business on his Linked In profile and is 'looking for other opportunities'. The only opportunity he should be looking for is a job so he can pay back everyone he owes.

I too have had very nasty experience with LivingSocial. The deal I bought could not be honoured and I was instructed to get a refund from LivingSocial. While LivingSocial agreed that there was a problem they do NOT want to give me a refund but have offered a credit instead. I do not want a credit I want my money back !!!! They have been ducking and diving ever since - not the actions of a n honest company!

Agree.. I paid for 5 days of Healthy Meals Delivered to Your Door, Also 4 Soft Pashmina Scarves and 3 Pcs Picture Photo Frames delivered . No response to any of my many messages.There company has, at long last, been suspended..

I am a merchant who has supplied product in full without getting paid - I made the offer of $129.00 for car tint for dargest legal - i never heard from this company again after deal went live and never got paid - got bankruptsy notice last Friday - as a merchant of these deal sites i can say it is the first time i have let down by a company with this buisness model - i have had very positive relationships with the others and will just have to wear this like all your unlucky guys out there.If any of you So sharp guys would like to have a car tint at $129 just drop me an email and i will honour the price ok - merry xmas tinturridefairfield@hotmail.com at least i may make my money back this way LOL.

I too purchase from this company in good faith in August and have not received my goods. I have sent two emails to them with no response before figuring out that they have taken the money and run. I certainly will not be purchasing from these type of companies again!!

I ordered things through them and just wondered why they were taking so long to arrive....no idea they even went bust until I actively searched out what had happened. I don't even know what or how many things I had in my order list now, except for a towel set that was about $50. Never will see that. Not happy, but what can you do - they are always dodgy companies out there. Unfortunately the customer ends up paying the price. Feel much worse for the merchants who redeemed in good faith.

if you paid by credit card, call your credit card company and claim it as fraudulent transactions. I think there is a time limit, either 60 or 90 days, from the date of purchase so get onto it ASAP

I too placed an order for $178 and recieved nothing. I am so disappointed, I also went through Paypal and was told nothing they could do. Quite frankly very upset.

I paid via Paypal, but they will not refund now as this was purchased in May as you all say it was promised for 45 days, I emailed got a email back wait one more month, emailed paypal and they told me they could not do anything for this particular type of order. So money lost, I have not lost as much as some of you, but still leaves a nasty taste in my mouth.

I have been chasing a refund due to Dr Webster not turning up to appointments and hence losing my money. So Sharp promised me a refund, then zip, nada, nothing. I have emailed them approx 200 times now with no response. I have been chasing a refund through my credit card only to be advised by Westpac that after 90 days after purchase it is too late to lodge a complaint. So... the moral of the story is if you do not receive goods by day 88 after purchasing lodge a dispute with credit card company so you are eligible for money back.

DODGY COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Left a really sour taste in my mouth with all the other deal sites as well now. Can they be trusted?

I am a merchant who is owed over $4000 having shipped out orders on so sharp voucher redemptions. Those who have purchased vouchers which cannot be used are still entitled to charge back on their credit cards. As for merchants like myself and others who have honoured those vouchers in good faith, we simply stand to loose all :(

there has to be some protection from these websites taking your money with 4-6 weeks for the delivery to arrive. then it does not come and the company goes bust and you lose your money. at least if they had a delivery date within 45 days you could claim the money back thru paypal resolution centre, unhappy lost money customer

I didnt even get an email or anything, and cant contact them via email or phone
I rang three weeks ago looking for my item and they said it was on the way and
I should have it by Friday. Turns out they knew I wouldnt have it by Friday and never
said a word. How dishonest is that ?? What scammers!!! Yes I would like Mr McDonalds private number. My items were bought in July.

I have paid So Sharp $645 for a dishwasher and $150 each for 2 tablets, that's a total of $945 and I was wondering if I will see my money again. Would anyone can help me give me suggestions?
